Shimano Brake Pads
How do i stop the brakes squeaking on my racing bike?
Everytime i pull hard on my brakes they squeak. i've cleaned the rims, the pads are in good condition and wearing evenly and they are well aligned.it happens in all weathers too.its frustrating.they are standard dual pivot brakes on a Shimano Sora deck.

theVisoinary gives the best advice. Adjust the pads so that the front of the pad makes contact first in the direction of the wheel rotation. This can be carried out by using a rubber band at the rear end of the block and pushing the blocks on the rim, then tighten and remove the rubber bands. This will give you the same angle of toe in.
