Bike Work Rack
Roof-mounted bicycle rack: Install fork or whole bike?
I've been using a strap-on luggage mounted bike rack on my car, but it's not exactly Inspire trust, that my beloved bike does not fall down at highway speeds. I catch sight mounted on roof racks and see, there are basically two kinds of way to hold the fork and on the need to remove the front wheel and the way that you can rely on front wheel. Which is better? Obviously, the fork mounted require more work, they must have some other advantages? Is there a problem with the whole bike mount that I would regret it if you do that? The bicycle is a 2007 Trek Pilot 5.0 all-carbon Road Bike and the car is a 2000 BMW 528i sedan, when the informatation makes a difference in your answers. Thanks.
